Out of an abundance of caution and to best serve the community, Special Pals will be closed to the public through May 1, 2020. Our animals will still receive daily care, but a few of our services will be limited during this time.
Animals are at the heart of our mission, and with lots of guests from local rescue groups in our kennels, we’re still here for them. Our staff is safe and we are working very hard to get every dog in our shelter into a foster or forever home. We are so grateful for your support through this challenging time!
Due to the stay home order in Harris County, we are unable to accept volunteers at our facility, and our staff is working very hard to keep up with the care of our animals. Please help support our staff during this time of increased workloads. To make a financial donation online, click here.
